Openings as of April 15, 2025: flute/piccolo, clarinet, cornet/trumpet, trombone, tuba, percussion, and all strings.

There are two sessions, each with three rehearsals and one concert. Rehearsals are Thursday evenings, 7:00-9:00 pm, at Grace United Methodist Church, 11485 S. Ridgeview in Olathe, Kansas. Participants may enroll for one or both sessions; see below for enrollment information.

Session 1: Rehearsals May 22, 29, and June 5, 7:00-9:00 pm
Performance: Thursday June 12, 7:00 pm -- "Tin Pan Alley"

Session 2: Rehearsals June 19, 26, and July 3, 7:00-9:00 pm
Performance: Thursday July 10, 7:00 pm -- "Rags, White, and Blue!"

Both performances will be at Mahaffie Farmstead,
1200 E. Kansas City Road, Olathe KS

The Sunflower Ragtime Orchestra is enrolling community musicians now for its

Summer 2025 season!

Rehearse and perform popular orchestral music of the early 1900s with other adult amateur musicians! Openings for flute/piccolo, clarinet, cornet/trumpet, trombone, tuba, percussion, and all strings.

The group rehearses from 7 to 9 pm Thursday evenings from May 22 to July 3 at:

Grace United Methodist Church, 11485 S. Ridgeview, Olathe KS

Two fun sessions, each concluding with a performance at Mahaffie Farmstead, 1200 E. Kansas City Rd., Olathe KS

$50 for either session or $90 for both
